That`s what the huge campsite Zlaté Piesky in Bratislava offers
We chose this campsite as we were looking for something to camp near Bratislava. Normally we avoid such big campsites, but if you like it, of course it`s perfect then. It even had its own beach, which is great if you spend a family holiday there.
The sanitary facilities were clean. But they were completely closed around noon so that they could be cleaned. Then you had to go to the toilets at the beach (which were often closed). So most of the time you couldn’t go to the toilets and showers for at least 1 hour! We found this handling a bit strange, at least one toilet could have kept open or they could have scheduled the cleaning for another time. Especially since around noon many people want to use the facilities.
But the location (5-10 min. by foot ) to the station Zlaté Piesky to get from there to old town is very practical. From there to the old town (station SND) it takes 23 minutes by tram.
